So my clubnight Laundry licked off again last weekend. We’re really happy with the venue, it’s a cavernous basement with old style charm but perfectly accessible for a club setup with two interconnecting rooms with a bar that stretches between the two.
We kicked off at 10pm and the place filled up really quickly. Giles started off with some Cosmic Disco sounds followed by the hypnotic rhythms of Claire and Conky. I played for an hour between 12 and 1 – started off very deep moody tunes but turned it up a north soon after with some more funky bouncy stuff later on.
