Fall Sterling Fall!

sterling

Like many people I pay very close attention to the Euro/Sterling rate… (this is the best site for it btw) For starters in my job I sell to the UK and travel there a bit on business. Up until recently the rate used to hover around the 1.47 mark for a long long time – If I was to spend £100 in the UK it was going to cost me €147 (Yes I know this is backwards to how most Irish people do the sums in your head but I think you are all weird)

The smile on my face has been growing daily over the last new months seeing the Sterling rate fall to a record low of 1.023 ( or 0.978 for you weirdo’s). If like me you buy a lot of things online from the UK, there are massive savings to be had.

I’ll go into more detail on this on my next post…
